He was predeceased by : his parents, Cyphor Lejeune and Annie Babineaux Lejeune; his grandson Ian Brody Richard; his son-in-law Timothy Richard; his siblings, Nelson Lejeune and Mary "Thelma" Lejeune Smith; and the mother of his children Frances Thibodeaux Lejeune.
He is survived by : his daughters, Brenda L. Horaist (Joseph) of Church Point, Charlene L. Richard (Leldon) of Branch, Cheryl L. McGee (Richard) of Branch and Marcella Lejeune of Rayne; and his siblings, Louise Prevost (Harold), Bertha Lavergne, Barbara Primeaux (Charles), Helen Brasseaux, Lita Lejeune, Eldridge Lejeune (Ethel), Callan Lejeune (Susie) and Austin Lejeune. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, four step grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren.
