She was predeceased by: her husband Shirley Nielsen; her parents, William Henry and Mittie Johnston; her children, David Johnston and Pam Ingram; and her siblings, Mavis Crawford (Merline Bailey), Royce Johnston, Bobby Johnston and Charles Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Johnston, Clifford Johnston, Debbie Pope, Mickey Johnston and Brian Nielsen. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brown-Holley Funeral Home (603 Francis St, Rayville, LA 71269). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
