It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtis Nichols Payne (Rayville, Louisiana), who passed away on May 8, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Ida Miller Nichols; her husband William Marvin Payne; her son-in-law Tom Whatley; her granddaughter Britney Raborn; her niece Chrystal Futch; and her sister Nickie Yelverton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Merle Raborn (Ken) and Linda Whatley Rice (Henry); her grandchildren, Scott (Jamie), Jonathan Raborn and Amanda Whatley Power; and her niece Sandra Johnston (Charles). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
