He is survived by : his wife Sherri "Sam" Annette Morgan Taylor; his son Walter Randolph Taylor, IV (Danielle Kazemi); his grandchildren, Kelly Ann Ambrose, Tiernan Colleen Ambrose, AbiGayle Grace Russell, James Mirza Kazemi and William Mirza Kazemi; his great grandchildren, Samuel Dean Ambrose and Paisyn Elizabeth Moon Ambrose; and his siblings, Barbara Ann Taylor and Michael Joseph Taylor.
