She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Gerard "Jerry" O'Brien; her parents, Michael Emmett Culligan, Sr. and Camille Catherine Berthelot Culligan; and her brothers, Michael Emmett Culligan, Jr. and Boyd Camille Culligan.

She is survived by: her children, John Michael O'Brien, Robert Gerard O'Brien and Kathy O'Brien Kaplan; her son-in-law Blake Kaplan; her grandchildren, Jessica Marie O'Brien, Aileen Elizabeth O'Brien, Tiffany Ann O'Brien, Christine Margaret O'Brien and Zachary Blake Kaplan; and her great grandchildren, Jacob and Amari.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Margaret's memory to St. Matthew the Apostle Church in River Ridge.
