She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Beverly Deshotel and Glauco Joseph Posseno; her husband Wayne Jude Russell Sr.; her children, Wayne Russell Jr. (Emily) and Jennifer Rodriguez (Raphael); her grandchildren, Lila, Margot, Graham, Declan, Julien and Carson; her siblings, Paul Posseno, Mark Posseno (Sharon), DeeAnne Jewell (David) and Amy Booth (Andy); her cousin Carlea; her nephews, Davey (Christina Jewell) and Mark Jr. (Sarah); and her caregivers, Kelly and Becky.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (1900 Hillary St, New Orleans, LA 70118).
