With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barry G Mobley of Ruston, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Barry; his parents, John Mobley and Vernice Mobley; and his siblings, Jerry Don Mobley, John Allen Mobley and Betty Broughton.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Boudreaux Mobley; his children, Danny (Emily Mobley), Shannon (Jeff Drury), Amos (Katie Bennett), Rhonda (Jerry Robertson) and Tammy (Lance Patterson); and his grandchildren, Sara Mobley, Pepper Mobley, Jacob Mobley, Robin, Dylan Austin, Hannah Drury, Jeff "Beau" Drury IV, Amber, Matt DeVaux, Alanna, Nathan Koffler, Calyn, Brian McGowan, Marissa, Jacob Hunter, Jared Meaux, Morgan, Miles Sehon, Taylor Robertson, Mallory Patterson, Garrett Patterson, Nathan Mobley, Chase Patterson, Andrew Robertson and Beau Drury, IV.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Owens Memorial Chapel (2300 W California Ave, Ruston, LA 71270). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery (515 Everett St, Ruston, LA 71270).
