He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Colvin, Sr. and Cleo Clifton Colvin; and his sisters, Annetta Colvin and Lesca Garland. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Ruth Gentry Colvin; his sons, Ed Colvin (Kelli) of Ruston, Louisiana, John Colvin (Beth) of Tallahassee, Florida and Gil Colvin of Ruston, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Joshua, Bethany Colvin of Ruston, Louisiana, Ainsley and Cora Colvin of Tallahassee, Florida; and his siblings, Billy Harry Colvin (Janie) of Nashville, Tennessee and Marian Roberts of Smackover, Arkansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be given to Cook Baptist Church, 2000 Cooktown Rd., Ruston, LA.
