He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Givens and Grace Goodman Givens; and his sisters, Eloise Holloway of Kenneth Givens, M. C and Dorothy Miley. He is survived by: his children, Mae Givens, Tonya Givens Brown (Mike), Bubba Givens (Dana) and Torie McManus (Colby); his stepdaughter Teresa Powell (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Trevor, Nolan Brown, Shelby, Kurtlyn, Drake Givens, Dylan, Carter, Madison, Brantley and Ben McManus; his siblings, Melvin Givens, Polly Rayburn, Aubrey Givens, Joyce Landry and Ralph Givens; his great grandchild Bowen Curt McManus; his sister-in-law JoAnn Givens; and his pet Sweet Boy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and his loving companion.

Memorials may be made to the Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of West Monroe.
