He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Blattner Buss and Clarence A. Buss; his siblings, Claudette Buss Tennyson and Thomas E. Buss; and his friend Levasseur "Bubba" Howard.

He is survived by: his friends, Madelain Farah and Gus W. Antis; and his aunt Jeanette Blattner Troupis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
