It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George J Schneider Sr. of Ruston, Louisiana, who passed away on July 9, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Eva Schneider; his former wife Barbara; his children, George (Kay), Bill (Kathy), Tom (Lori), Levi Pottsboro (Debbie) and Laura Schneider; his granddaughters, Katherine Anderson, Rebecca Girbach, Lauren Schneider, Courtney Schneider, Ashley Schmitt, Sara Glazer and Allison Schneider; his great grandchildren, Joshua, John Anderson, Sarah, Charlotte, Emily Girbach, Dietrich and Wyatt Schmitt; and his wife Beta Sigma Phi.
Due to the public safeguards pertaining to the current pandemic, family will attend a private Funeral Rite of Committal at Owens Cemetery.
