He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Talmadge and Cecile Mae Carr (Longino); and his sisters, Ouida Thompson and Carolyn Carr. He is survived by: his wife Rustene Carr; his son Dr. Joel L. Carr (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Madison Carr and Joel Triston Carr; and his sisters, Ann Shelton and Evelynn Carr. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
