He is survived by: his spouse Ann Prudhomme Brown; his children, Denny Brown and Denise Atkins; his grandchildren, Justin Brown, Samantha Brown, Jennifer Hay, Mandy Meadows, Chele Atkins, Jessica Atkins, Eddie Holmes, Katie Brown, Caitlin Teves and Chloe Teves; and his siblings, Louie Brown, Carma Walker and Sara Boyd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
