He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewie Bass and Omega Bass; and his siblings, Loy Byrd and James Bass. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Martha Bass, Laurie Reed (David), Karen Borne (Ryan) and Christopher Bass (Jen); and his grandchildren, Eli, Adeline, James Ryan, Hudson and Brady.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home or Temple Baptist Church Journey Place.
