He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Connard Estes and Nancy Jane Ross Estes; and his siblings, Connard Estes (Mattie) and Shirlee Estes McGann. He is survived by: his former wife Margaret Jane Fisher; his wife Hilda Brazzel Estes; his son Stephen Clayton Estes (Mary Colleen Estes); his granddaughter Jill Estes Higginbotham (Brian); his great grandchildren, William and Hayes Higginbotham; his siblings, Louis Estes (Marilyn) and Betty Duhon; and his siblings-in-law, Gene Brazzel (Carolyn) and Murlene Benedict. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mr. Estes can be made to Alzheimer's Association or the charity of your choice Pallbearers will be David Estes, Les Estes, Gary Brazzel, Eric Brazzel, Robert O'Neal, Jim O'Neal, Tim Estes and Barry Smith.
