She was predeceased by: her parents, George Land and Katie Land; her spouse John Fred Richmond; her sister Virginia Land Calhoun; and her grandchildren, Laura Richmond, Cameron Richmond and Royce Norman, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Mary Katherine Farmer (Kathie), John Richmond, Jr. (Linda), Randall Richmond (Terri) and Robert Richmond (Beverly); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Pratt, Michael Richmond (Melissa), Amanda Hollis (Travis), Carey Tynes (Jonathan), William Richmond (Amberlee), Nicole Richmond, Railey Richmond, Alyssa Richmond and Rhonda Grafton Boyd; her brother-in-law Alton Calhoun; and her niece Madeline Owens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Douglas United Methodist Church or the donor's choice.
