Sophia Wood Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2019, at the age of 88, Sophia Wood (Ruston, Louisiana), born in Enid, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Butler and Florence Butler; her son-in-law Oliver Carroll (Butch); and her grandson Andrew Wood. She is survived by: her spouse George Wood; her children, Jo Carroll, Becky Whalen (Gil), Paul Rachal (Holly Hall) and Pam Rachal (Michael); her grandsons, Jonne Spann, Adam Wood (Natasha Fevre) and Richard Carroll; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Nathan Carroll and Owen Fevre-Wood.
Honorary pallbearers will be Louie Miller, Hubert Estes, and Larry Neal, M.D. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Temple Baptist Church (Building or Library Fund) or Rolling Hills Ministries.
