He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse LaVelle Hood and Jessie Omega Cooper Hood; his wife Margie "Marge" Doss Hood; and his siblings, Marvis Hood of Ruston, LA, Prentis Hood of Homer, LA, Susie Gilbert of Las Vegas, NV and Bobbie Turlington of Tatum, Texas..
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Andy Turlington (Candy) of Wichita Falls, TX, Tanya Turlington of Garland, TX, Mitch Hood of Franklinton, Janie Hood of Ruston, LA and Tommy Doss (Donna).
