Walker E. Denham Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walker E. Denham in Ruston, Louisiana, who passed away on December 5, 2020 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walker E. Denham to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Denham and Vera Denham; his brother George E. "Pete" Denham, Jr.; his daughter Carol Rene Wheelus; and his wife Reatha Goss Denham.
He is survived by: his daughters, Charlotte Bowen (Johnny) of Bernice and Kathy Tyson (Vernon) of Leesville; his grandchildren, Leon Wheelus (Tracy), Geoff Deason (Rachel), Lensie Stanley (Justin) and Michael Wheelus (Becky); his great grandchildren, Tristan, Carlie Wheelus, Alyssa Deason, Katelynn, Dillon Stanley, Knox and Cruz Wheelus; and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Harkins (Bobby) and Connie Turner (Bill). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, the family will have a private family service at Shiloh Cemetery in Bernice, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
With Windy's love of children, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to First Baptist Church, 502 Cherry Street, Bernice, LA 71222 for a new playground area for the children.
