She was predeceased by : her father Johnny Pomares. She is survived by : her husband Barry Forbes; her children, Masyn, Bella Winningham and Skylar Landry; her mother Josie Broussard; her stepfather Layne Broussard; her sister Melissa Pomares Bahlinger; and her nieces and nephews, Brooke Pettit, Gracie Bahlinger, Blake Anderson, Peyton Bahlinger, Joshua Pomares and Jacob Pomares.

Ashley was a woman of God and her last act of selflessness was giving the gift of organ donation.
