With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emile Edwin Goettz Jr. of Saint Bernard, Louisiana, who passed away on December 19, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Emile Edwin Goettz, Sr. and Antoinette Compagna Goettz; his sisters, Catherine Goettz, Marion Graham, Marylou Smith and Catherine Breaux; and his great grandchild Stephan Hernandez.

He is survived by : his wife Joan Gerosa Goettz; and his grandsons, Lawrence Emile Goettz, Jr. (Christine), Michael Joseph Goettz, Emmanuel Edwin Goettz (Gabby), Douglas Raymond Hernandez, IV (Erica) and Brent Joseph Hernandez "Brad" (Amanda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
