He was predeceased by: his parents, August Griffin and Shirley Riley Griffin; his wife Lisa Williamson Griffin; and his siblings, Anthony, Rev. August and Mervin J. Griffin.
He is survived by: his children, Tennillia G. Demolle, Wilbert Jr., Kendall Griffin and Aurillia Lumar; his stepson Kevin Williamson; his siblings, Shelia G. Thomas (Allen), Margaret G. Duplessis and Eric F. Griffin (Joann); his sibling-in-law Ardtria Griffin; his uncle Andrew Griffin; and his aunt Ella Mae Riley. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Catholic Church (17605 Hwy 15, Pointe à la Hache, LA 70082). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
