He was predeceased by : his parents, George Wilcox and Martha Wilcox. He is survived by : his daughter Veronica Hauer; his son-in-law Stuart; his grandchildren, Tristen Jones, Julius Jones (Domonique), Auslyn Taylor, Christopher Taylor, LaToriya Jones, Aubriana and Jala Hauer; his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Malorie, Jai and Julius, II; his siblings, Jimmy Wilcox of Zachary, LA., Mattie Dunbar of Zachary, LA., Frances Guidry of Zachary, LA., Scott (Delphine Wilcox) of Port Allen, LA. and Lana (Gregory Hardesty, Sr.) of Baton Rouge, LA.; his godchildren, Mark Givens (Meosha) and Diamond Dunbar; his nephews, James, Ronald and Dexter Wilcox; and his niece Wanda Dunbar. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Peter Baptist Church (9109 Tunica Trace, St Francisville, LA 70775).
