He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Lucille Ruth Brown and Bennett Brown, Jr.; his daughter Essie Booker Broussard (Freddie); and his siblings, Nathaniel, Eugene, George, Margie Brown, Lucille B. Chinn and Betty B. Morris. He was also cherished by four grandsons.
