He was predeceased by : his parents, Julie Bergeron Catchings and William Henry Catchings Sr.; his stepmother Fern Randall Catchings; and his stepbrother Albin "Putt" Randall. He is survived by : his wife Sue Sanders Catchings; and his stepbrothers, Jimmie Randall (Mary Catherine), Rory Randall (Debra) and Charlie Randall.
