She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Meche, Sr.; her children, Beverly Meche Broussard, Bailey Meche and Gerard Meche; her parents, Joseph Gotch and Estella Prejean Gotch; and her siblings, Austin, Alton, Gilbert, Rufus, Clarence, Eugene, Caseley, Aubrey, Kenneth, Morris Gotch and Irene Charles.
She is survived by: her siblings, Emanual Meche of Duson, LA and Alfred Gotch of Lafayette, LA; and her grandchild Geneva Kilchrist of Houston, TX. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; four step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
