He was predeceased by: his wife Melinda Frances Barras; his parents, Antoine Barras, Sr. and Lorena Braquet Barras; and his sister Pauline Dickens. He is survived by: his daughters, Julianne Barras (Nicholas Hughes) and Annalise Barras; and his cousin Jimmy Braquet.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - St. Martinville (112 N New Market St, St Martinville, LA 70582). A rosary was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at the St. Michael Cemetery (101-199 Cemetery Rd, St Martinville, LA 70582).
