He was predeceased by: his wife Claudia Gaudet; his daughter Tammy Gaudet; his parents, Joseph Gaudet, and Lelia Gaudet, Sr.; and his siblings, Dennis Gaudet, Hilda Gaudet, Lillian Fontenot and Shirley Hernandez.
He is survived by: his children, Toni Marie Lasseigne (Jude) and John Allen Gaudet; his grandchildren, Brent Gaudet, Amber Hayes (David), Blake Lasseigne (Leaha), Tori Gaudet (Calder Hebert), Misti Borel (Blaize) and Josh Morgan (Nancy); his great grandchildren, Thomas Hayes, Bella Hayes, Kenny Hayes, Brantsley Borel, Evvie Borel, Emory Lasseigne and Marisol Morgan; and his siblings, Louis Gaudet, Joseph Gaudet, Raymond Gaudet, Genieve Bateman, Joyce Gondron and Ethel Rodriquez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home (112 N New Market St, St Martinville, LA 70582). A rosary will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church (133 S Main St, St Martinville, LA 70582). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the St. Michael Cemetery (101-199 Cemetery Rd, St Martinville, LA 70582).
