It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Bourgeois Vilcan (Schriever, Louisiana), born in Gibson, Louisiana, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Etienne Bourgeois and Ernestine Scheffler Bourgeois (Gilbert Adams). She is survived by: her children, Steven Adams (Joy), Anne Kathryn Vilcan Leblanc, Richard Vilcan (Naomi) and Margo Vilcan; and her son-in-law David Himel. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
