He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Courquet and Anthony Bourgeois, Sr.; and his sister Eleanor Bourgeois. He is survived by: his wife Christine Bourgeois; his daughters, Alicia Bourgeois and Amy Bourgeois (Stephen Davis); his granddaughter Emma Bourgeois; his siblings, Genevieve Bourgeois of Lafayette, Catherine Bourgeois Mason of Abita Springs, Dr. Anthony "Buddy" Bourgeois, Jr. of College Station, TX. and Charles Bourgeois of Lafayette; and his goddaughter Katie Player. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
