He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sonnier and Mary Lou Meche; his parents-in-law, Larrell and Elaine Guidry Richard; and his brothers-in-law, James Dale Duhon and Craig Richard.
He is survived by: his child Church; his wife Tammy Sonnier; his children, Jacob Arthur Sonnier, Natalie Goss (Tyler) of Maurice and Alayne Sonnier of Scott; his granddaughter Emma Lou Goss; his siblings, Jason Sonnier (Jessica), Faye Duhon of Scott and Becky Bourque (Jeffery) of Scott; and his godchildren, Coby Duhon (Lacey), Blaine Richard, Troy Broussard and Courtney Sonnier. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
