It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Roberts Lucas (Shreveport, Louisiana), who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Claudia Roberts may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Monroe Roberts and Mary Jane Roberts; her husbands, Fermon Rashall and C. D. Lucas; and her children, Norma Corbin (Jimmie D. Corbin) and Norman Ray Rashall.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Mike Corbin (Richea) and Nancy Brooks (Michael). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
