It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Riggs of Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Delores departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Heavenly Gates Funeral Home (1339 Jewell St, Shreveport, LA 71101). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Baptist Church (740 Turner Ln, Shreveport, LA 71106).
