He was predeceased by: his wife Anice Hamersky; and his siblings, Kirk and Janet. He is survived by: his children, Lenard Hamersky and Annette Hamersky Colyar; his grandchildren, Cynthia Colyar, Christopher Colyar (Carolyn Colyar), Megan Hamersky (Matt King) and Nicole Hamersky Johnson (Travis Johnson); and his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Charlie, Lillian and Adeline.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Shreveport Southside (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, or any other breast cancer charity of your choice in memory of his beloved Anice.
