She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Lee "Cotton" Giddens; her son Thomas David "Tommy" Giddens; her parents, William David "Dave" Pickett and Hazel Mosley Pickett; her siblings, William David Pickett, Jr., Dawson "Posh" Pickett, J. R. "Buddy" Pickett, Nelvin Bryant and Doris Bamburg; and her daughter-in-law Wanda Stanley Giddens.
She is survived by: her sons, Harold Giddens (Chadra) of Texarkana and Ronnie Giddens (Sybil) of Allen, Texas; and her siblings, Joe Pickett of Coushatta, Dinah Puckett of Bossier City and Betsy Bell of Bossier City. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
