He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his son James Robinson Madison, Jr. (Robbie); his stepsons, David Greenwald and Joseph W. Greenwald, Jr.; his sons, Jackson and Cooper; his brothers, Stewart M. Madison and John M. Madison, Jr. (Jan); his nephews, John M. Madison, III and Clinton W. Madison; and his children, Elizabeth Madison, Walker Madison and Clinton W. Madison, Jr..
