She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Calhoun and Exa Calhoun; her husband Garland Austin McCoy, Sr.; and her son Garland Austin McCoy, Jr. (Luke). She is survived by: her daughters, Kelley McCoy Inderman (Randy) and Cindy McCoy Anstead; her daughter-in-law Sherri Soigner (Steve); her grandchildren, Jonathan McCoy, Joshua McCoy, Renee Blankenship (Aaron), Hunter Robinson, Fisher Robinson (Hailey), Angie Horst, Karen Hayes (Jason) and Kelli Dunn (JD); her great grandchildren, Cassidy Blankenship, Katie Lee Blankenship, Keaton Blankenship, Robyn Robinson, Cheyenne Horst, Natalie Horst, Caleb Hayes, Cameran Alyssa Hayes and Jayden Hayes; her great great grandchildren, Tripp and Trace Campbell; and her siblings, Jerry Calhoun, Jackie Calhoun (Marcia), Sue Hinton (James) and Sharon Mills (Jack). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many "adopted" children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Bethel Assembly of God Church (5801 W Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71129). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the Calendar Forest Park West Cemetery (4400 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71109).
