It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucy Twyla Asberrty Bartlett in Shreveport, Louisiana, born in Summerfield, Louisiana, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Carroll Asberry and Myrtle Lee McCullar Asberry; her husband Robert Bartlett; her children, Dennis Bartlett and Robin Bartlett; and her siblings, Mary Fern Ray and Bruce Asberry.

She is survived by : her daughter Denise Laenger (Matt); her grandchildren, Paige Franz, Austin Laenger, Zach Laenger (Apple), Jennifer Merrell (Matt) and Chris Laenger; and her great grandchildren, Felix Laenger and Leona Laenger. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 3700 St Vincent Ave, Shreveport, LA 71103. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (1815 Marshall St, Shreveport, LA 71101).

The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
