She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; her son Robert Lee LaForest; her parents, Moise Derosby and Alma Derosby; her parents-in-law, William and Sophronie LaForest; her grandson Aaron Michael King; her son-in-law Bryan Keith King; and her niece Becky Howard Zana.
She is survived by: her daughter Ellie Chase (Raymond); her grandchildren, Amber Wilson (Jeff) and Jared King (Heather); her stepgrandchildren, Kenneth Chase (Gidget) and Jessica Chase; her great grandchildren, Taylor Attaway, Jaden Wilson, Kailey Wilson, Timothy Kent, Axel King, Delilah King, Emma Burson and Brooklyn Chase; and her sister Beverly Ann Howard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Journey Church (1020 Shreveport Barksdale Hwy, Shreveport, LA 71104). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (4700 Palmetto Rd, Benton, LA 71006).
