She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cavalaris and Sophia Cavalaris; her husband Alexander Sam Mijalis; her siblings, Demetrios Cavalaris and Jennie Peroulas (Jim); and her brothers-in-law, John Cosse, Spiro Mijalis and Gus Mijalis.
She is survived by: her sons, Sammy Mijalis (Debby Birky), John Mijalis (Lily) and James Mijalis (Angela); her sister Christine Cosse; her sisters-in-law, Alice Stravolemos (Emanuel) and Stacy Mijalis; and her grandchildren, Marie Lipsky (Scott), Jeanne Baca (Juraj), Alexander Mijalis (Daphne), Andrew Mijalis (Carmen), Dean Mijalis (Stephanie), Alex Mijalis, Eleni Mijalis, Courtney Smith (Justin) and Hunter Birky (Courtney). She is also survived by numerous great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
