She was predeceased by : her parents, Ingoma McWilliams and Faye Marie Owens (Cheatham); her sister Virginia Winn; and her husband Alvin Joseph Aple. She is survived by : her children, Steven Ray Fort (Rena) of Benton, Jeffrey Todd Fort (Ingrid) of Shreveport, Tracy Lane Fort (Denise) of Benton and Kimberly Michelle Matthews of The Colony, Texas; her grandchildren, Chris Fort, Blake Fort, Brook Fort, Angel Fort, Tyler Fort, Tiffany Fort, Christian Matthews, Sydney Marie Matthews and Glenn Kinsey; her great grandchildren, Aubrey Ann Fort, Barron Lane Fort, Jace Fort and Peyton Fort; and her sister Nina Dean.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (420 N Jackson, Magnolia, AR 71753). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Cemetery (1111 Columbia Rd 40, Magnolia, AR 71753).
