She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Petty and Mary Petty; her husband Richard "Ric" Mayfield Sr.; her children, Richard Mayfield II (Samantha) of Shreveport, LA and Erin Parish (Jonathan Parish) of Robeline, LA; her stepdaughters, Amy Hall (Charles Hall), Rebecca Thompson (Joe Thompson) and Sarah Ford (Ashton Ford); her sisters, Kathleen Petty Mousavizadegan of Yorktown, VA, Rosemary Elaine Hobart (John Stockton) of Hampton, VA, Barbara Ellen Petty (Daniel Waddle) of Leesburg, VA, Marjorie Petty McGuirk (David) of Asheville, NC and Loretta; and her grandchildren, Caston, Reelen, Olivia, Nora, Jenna, Ian, Andrew, Ryan, Cameron, Morgan and Gage.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (522 E Flournoy Lucas Rd, Shreveport, LA 71115).
