We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2022, at the age of 101, Pleasant Nathaniel Burns in Shreveport, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Warren Burns and Edna Shaw Burns; his great grandchild Landree; and his wife Zinnie. He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Burns (Sina), Susan George (Lake) and Patricia Miller (Lindy); and his caregivers, Walhina Jackson, Noel of Washington and Melanie Blackwell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
