He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Jones and Iris Estelle Odom Jones; and his brother David Wynn Jones. He is survived by: his son Christopher Aaron Jones; his grandchildren, Alyssa and Nathan Jones; his daughter Staci Jones Kemp (Steve); his grandchildren, Trip and Sonny Kemp; and his sister Genelle Peterson (Tim). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
