She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Andrew McKamie and Alta Mae Sandifer McKamie; her husband Cecil A. King; her daughter Barbara King Young; and her niece Mona Rachal Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy, Dennis (Donette), Jeff (Gayle) and Brian; her sister-in-law Margie King Rachal (Paul); her niece Becky Rachal Davis (Kirk); and also, Sandy and Richard Erwin. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home (2500 Southside Dr, Shreveport, LA 71118). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
