It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Geneva W Odom of Simsboro, Louisiana, born in Calhoun, Louisiana, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Martin Walker and Cumie Sullivan Walker; her husband James Curtis Odom; her daughter Debra Lynn Odom Collins; her son-in-law James Robert Ferguson; and her siblings, Lorine Skipper, Vera Jones, Ethel Britt, Ilena Clark, Irene Branch, Byrne Walker and Homer Walker.

She is survived by : her brother J. M. Walker (Mae); her children, Jimmy Wayne Odom (Linda), Bruce Alvin Odom (Letha) and Brenda Gail Odom Ferguson; and her grandchildren, Amy Marie Odom Szpara (Ray Szpara), Kimberly Lynn Odom Campos (Marco Campos), Jason Ferguson (Kammi), Kurt Odom (Kristin) and Kyle Odom (Erika). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
