He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Simmons and Albertine Navarro Hethcoat Simmons; his wife Betty Ubas Simmons; his children, Frederick "Fred" Ubas (Terri Ubas) and Brenda; and his brother Peter Hethcoat.
He is survived by: his children, Ubas Kreger (Pete Kreger), Steedie Ubas (Gina Ubas), Mindy Ubas Marrione (Chris Marrione), Cindy Couture, Debbie Sibley (late Lenn Sibley) and Alyson Ward (Virgil Ward); and his brothers, Henry Hethcoat (Ena Hethcoat) and Joseph Hethcoat. He is also survived by many beautiful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
