It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Lou Bemelman (Slidell, Louisiana), born in Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on February 11, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Viola Brown Rizzato; and her sisters, Linda Hitt and Jackie Thompson. She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Bemelman; her husband Coleman Bemelman; her son Johnnie Bemelman; her daughter-in-law Stacey Bemelman; her grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Alyssa and Jaylynn; her great grandchild Selena; her father Bruno Rizzato; her stepmother Pat Rizzato; her siblings, Johnny Rizzato and Donna Lebrfeld; and her siblings' children, Patrick Hitt and Melissa Turney. She is also survived by 3 great nieces and nephews.
