She was predeceased by: her son Shomaine Cryer; her mother Dorothy Mae Cryer (Homer Jones); and her siblings, Linda Gant, Jackie Cryer Ginn and Joseph Jr. of Washington.
She is survived by: her husband Homer "Sonny" Jones III; her children, Deldrick Cryer (Demetria) and Latisha Cryer Veal (Roland Jr); her grandsons, Darius, Anthony and Landon; her sisters, Diane Ryan Smith (Lawrence), Cynthia Cryer Yates (Saud), Patsy Cryer Jones (Tyrone) and Tiffany of Washington; her parents-in-law, Kevin and Michele Jones; and her stepdaughter Monice Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and several lifelong friends.
