It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel Patrick Whalen of Slidell, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Whalen and Elaine F. Whalen; and his brother James Michael Whalen. He is survived by: his wife Judith Krenning Whalen; his sons, Timothy Patrick Whalen and Dennis Paul Whalen (Jenna); his grandchildren, Noah, Vayda, Rowyn and Canyon; his brothers, Donald Patrick Whalen (Doris) of League City and David Robert Whalen; and his sister-in-law Sarah Whalen of Metairie, LA. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Children's Hospital in New Orleans, or the Gary Sinise Foundation for Veterans are preferred.
